I travelled to Leeds for a full studio session recording drums, piano, bass, guitar and vocals. I handled the recording throughout the session and later worked collaboratively on the mix to bring everything together for the final song.
This is where I make music from my own ideas or loose artist briefs. A lot of these songs are inspired by K-pop and give me a chance to explore different styles while developing my production and songwriting.

A rawer K-pop girl group track with a lot of attitude, taking inspiration from hip-hop and trap. I wrote and produced the full song as well as the original vocals, before using Suno to re-sing them with a female voice that better suited the song.

A darker K-pop track I made with BABYMONSTER in mind. The idea was to bring out their harder, more aggressive sound while still keeping the cute and playful side of their identity, which became the main concept behind Cutest Enemy.
CG Lab is where I experiment with production and give myself different creative challenges. A big part of this is my Blind Production series, where I take vocals from a song I've never heard before and build my own production around them. Some of these have gone on to reach millions of views online.

I made this using only the isolated vocals without listening to the original song first. I ended up taking it in a jazzy club direction, building a completely new instrumental around the vocals and experimenting with electronic sounds throughout.

I produced this using only the isolated vocals without hearing the original song. The vocals immediately pushed me towards something big and energetic, so I built my own EDM production around them and created a completely different version of the song.

For this one I took the isolated vocals and went for a much heavier electronic sound. I built the production from scratch around the energy of the vocals, using a mixture of EDM and dubstep influences to create my own version.

I took a completely different approach with this one and built something slower around the isolated vocals. I went for an R&B inspired sound with a more laid back groove, while still bringing in some of the electronic production that I normally use.
